Overview

Some decisions are too expensive to get wrong and too infrequent to build internal expertise for: which platform to commit to, whether to build or buy, whether a vendor's proposal is reasonable, whether an inherited system can be saved.

We give you a written recommendation with the reasoning, the alternatives considered and the risks stated — including the cases where the honest answer is to change nothing.

Process

    Review the systems, interview the people involved, and test the assumptions behind the options.

  3. Recommend

    A written recommendation with reasoning, alternatives, risks and cost implications.

  4. Support the decision

    Help presenting it to stakeholders, and oversight through implementation if you want it.
